ジーヴァカが動物が自分専用に殺されるのかどうかを仏陀に尋ね、仏陀がその目的で殺されたと疑う理由がない限り肉を食べてもよいと説明し、その後ジーヴァカが自ら在家信者であると宣言する経。

A discourse in which Jīvaka asks the Buddha whether animals are slain expressly for his use, and the Buddha explains that meat may be eaten unless there is reason to suspect the animal was killed for that purpose, after which Jīvaka declares himself a follower.
