Jambukhādaka Jātaka
Jātaka讲述阎浮树林中一位树神(菩萨)的本生故事:牠目睹一只乌鸦被树下豺狼的谄媚言辞哄得沾沾自喜,便将这两个说谎者一并驱离;此故事关联到提婆达多与 Kokālika 互相吹捧的传闻。
A Jātaka about a tree-sprite, the Bodhisatta, in a jambu grove who watches a crow flattered into complacency by a jackal’s praise and drives both liars away — told with reference to reports that Devadatta and Kokālika went about praising each other.
