자나빠다깔랴니라는 별명을 지닌 사꺄족의 미녀로, 한때 난다 장로와 혼약을 맺었으나, 부처님이 만든 환영의 여인이 늙어 쇠퇴해가는 모습을 보여준 후 교단에 들어가 아라한과를 얻었다.
