어머니의 임신 중 입덧으로부터 아소카의 미래 영광을 예언한 아지위까 고행자로, 예언이 적중한 후 궁정으로 소환되었으나 도중에 출가하여 아라한과를 얻었다

An Ājīvaka ascetic who predicted the future glory of Asoka from his mother’s pregnancy cravings; summoned to court after the prediction proved true, he instead entered the Order en route and attained Arahantship.
