一则本生故事：商队掘深一口废井取水，意外发现埋藏的宝藏，却因贪心继续深挖、不听菩萨劝阻而被当地龙王尽数杀死，对照后来一群阿罗汉发现同一宝藏后如实禀报佛陀。

A Jātaka about a caravan that digs a disused well deeper for water, finds buried treasure, and is slain by a resident Nāga king for greedily digging further despite the Bodhisatta’s warning, contrasted with Arahants who found the same treasure and reported it to the Buddha.
