  • King of Sri Lanka (1114–1116 CE), brother of Vijayabāhu I, who became king with Pāṇḍyan support but was later reduced to nominal sovereignty in Rohaṇa after Vikkamabāhu seized the capital.

  • A Tamil usurper who, together with Māgha, held control of northern Sri Lanka and its capital Pulatthipura for many years before and during the reign of Parakkamabāhu II.

  • The youngest of Parakkamabāhu II’s five sons, who assisted his father in governing.

  • A grandson of Parakkamabāhu VI who is said to have succeeded him but was murdered by Bhuvanekabāhu.

  • A thera of Sri Lanka better known as Devarakkhita or Dhammakitti, who served as Saṅgharāja and composed the Nikāyasaṅgraha.
