තමාව අපිරිසිදු කළ කපුටෙකුට කිපුණු පුරෝහිතයෙක් ගින්නෙන් තුවාල වූ රජුගේ ඇතුන් සුව කිරීමට කපුටු තෙල් අවශ්‍ය යැයි බොරු අණක් දුන් පසු, කපුටුන් සියල්ලක්ම විනාශ වීමට ආසන්න වූ ජාතක කථාවක් වන අතර, කපුටුන්ට තෙල් නොමැත්තේ ඔවුන් සැමවිටම බියෙන් ජීවත් වන නිසා යැයි බෝධිසත්වයා පැහැදිලි කරන තෙක් එය දිගටම සිදු විය.

A birth-story about crows nearly exterminated after a chaplain, angered when one soiled him, falsely prescribed crows’ fat to cure the king’s fire-injured elephants, until the Bodhisatta explains that crows have no fat because their lives are spent in constant fear.
