一則本生故事，講兩隻鸚鵡兄弟 Rādha 與 Poṭṭhapāda 在王宮中失寵於一只頑劣的猴子 Kālabāhu，直至孩童們因猴子的惡作劇而心生畏懼、將其逐出，恰如 Rādha 先前所預言，是佛陀就提婆達多放出象 Nāḷāgiri 行刺一事所說。

A birth story about two parrot brothers who lose the royal court’s attention to a mischievous monkey named Kālabāhu, until the children grow frightened of the monkey’s tricks and it is sent away just as one brother had foreseen, told in reference to Devadatta’s attempt on the Buddha’s life with the elephant Nāḷāgiri.
