本生故事，講一位波羅奈王子受化身青年的帝釋挑動而貪求無厭、終至病倒，後由菩薩點破貪慾之虛妄而痊癒；此事為促成《愛慾經》宣說的婆羅門而說。

A birth story of a Bārāṇasī prince whose insatiable greed for a kingdom, stoked by Sakka in disguise, made him ill, until the future Buddha cured him by exposing the futility of endless craving, told regarding the brahmin who prompted a discourse on desire.
