Suttanipāta හි Aṭṭhakavagga හි පළමුවන සූත්‍රය, එහිදී බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේ බ්‍රාහ්මණ ගොවියෙකු නැවත නැවත බැහැදුටු අතර, පුරෝකථනය කළ පරිදිම ඔහුගේ අස්වැන්න ගංවතුරෙන් විනාශ වූ පසු ඔහුව සනසා, ඔහුව සෝවාන් ඵලයට පත් කළහ.

The first discourse of the Aṭṭhakavagga of the Suttanipāta, in which the Buddha repeatedly visited a brahmin farmer and, after the man’s harvest was destroyed by flood just as foreseen, consoled him, leading him to become a Stream-winner.

දේවතාවෙකුගේ ප්‍රශ්නවලට පිළිතුරු දෙන කෙටි සූත්‍රයකි, කිසිවෙකු කිසි විටෙක අනුන්ගේ වහලෙකු නොවිය යුතු බවත් වචනය සැමවිටම මෘදු විය යුතු බවත් උගන්වයි.
