एक सुत्त जिसमें बुद्ध चम्पा में यह बल देकर कहते हैं कि दोषारोपण के बाद साथी भिक्षुओं को गाली देने वाले भिक्षु को अवश्य निष्कासित किया जाना चाहिए, इसकी तुलना उस रोगग्रस्त पौधे से करते हैं जिसे न उखाड़ने पर पूरा जौ का खेत नष्ट हो जाएगा।

A sutta in which the Buddha, at Campā, insists that a monk who reviles his fellow monks after being charged with an offence must be expelled, comparing him to a diseased plant that would ruin the rest of a barley field if left unpulled.
