一则本生故事，讲述一名猎人身披辟支佛黄袍猎杀大象，象群首领菩萨因敬重此袍而饶他一命，用以譬喻提婆达多妄披华美僧衣却德不配位。

A Jātaka about a hunter who slew elephants while disguised in a Pacceka Buddha’s yellow robe, spared by the Bodhisatta-elephant leader out of respect for the robe, told to illustrate Devadatta’s unworthy pretense in wearing a fine robe.
