කීටාගිරියේදී, බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේ සහ ඔහුගේ කැපවූ ශිෂ්‍යයන් සිදු කළ පරිදි දිනකට එක් වරක් පමණක් ආහාර ගැනීම සමච්චල් කළ අස්සජි-පුනබ්බසුකා නම් භික්ෂු කණ්ඩායමට දේශනා කරන ලද සූත්‍රයකි; බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේ තම සියලු ඉගැන්වීම් තමන්ගේම අත්දැකීම හා ඥානය මත පදනම් වන අතර එබඳු චෝදනා නොකර ඒවා අනුගමනය කළ යුතු බව අවධාරණය කරයි.

A discourse taught at Kīṭāgiri to the group of monks known as the Assaji-Punabbasukā, who had ridiculed the practice of eating only one meal a day as the Buddha and his committed disciples did, in which the Buddha insists that all his teachings rest on his own experience and knowledge and must be followed without such carping.
