ယဇ်ကျင်းပြင်ဆင်နေစဉ် ယဇ်ကို မည်သို့ ကျင်းပရမည်ကို ဗုဒ္ဓဘုရားရှင်ထံ တိုင်ပင်ခဲ့သော ခါဏုမတ မြို့ ပညာအလွန်ရှိသော ဗြာဟ္မဏ်တစ်ဦးဖြစ်ပြီး ကူဋဒန္တသုတ် တွင် မှတ်တမ်းတင်ထားသော သူ၏ ကူးပြောင်းမှုကို ဘုရားရှင်၏ တရားနိုင်ငံအောင်ပွဲကြီးများ တွင် တစ်ခုအပါအဝင် ရေတွက်ခံရသည်

A very learned brahmin of Khāṇumata who, while preparing a great sacrifice, consulted the Buddha on how sacrifices should be conducted; his resulting conversion, recorded in the Kūṭadanta Sutta, is counted among the Buddha’s great spiritual victories.
