พระอรหันต์ผู้ในอดีตกาลครั้งเป็นพระราชา ทรงโปรยดอกกรรณิการ์จากระเบียงพระราชวังลงมายังพระพุทธเจ้าสิทธัตถะและพระสงฆ์ แล้วภายหลังทรงเป็นพระราชาอีกสี่ครั้ง สันนิษฐานว่าเป็นองค์เดียวกับพระเถระพันธุระ

An Arahant who, long ago as a king, scattered kaṇavera flowers over Siddhattha Buddha and his monks from his balcony, and who later became king four more times; he is probably identical with the elder Bandhura.
