A Jātaka about Kaṭāhaka, a slave’s son raised alongside a rich treasurer’s son (the Bodhisatta), who forged a letter to marry a merchant’s daughter by posing as the treasurer’s heir, only to be exposed yet spared out of the treasurer’s compassion.
