Kaṭṭhavāhana
Person婆羅門導師婆吠利(Bāvarī)的前生,本為波羅奈的一位木匠首領,率同行工匠遷往喜馬拉雅山麓另建一國並自立為王。
A king who, in a former life, was Bāvarī the brahmin teacher; originally a master carpenter of Bārāṇasī, he led his fellow craftsmen to found a new kingdom in the Himalayan foothills and became its first ruler.

Person波羅奈國王,即菩薩前生,為梵授王(Brahmadatta)與一位在林中拾柴時被王邂逅並納為妃的女子所生之子,事見《拾薪本生》。
A king of Bārāṇasī and the Bodhisatta, born the son of King Brahmadatta and a firewood-gathering woman he met and married in a grove, as told in the Kaṭṭhahāri Jātaka.

Person一位國王,本是一名建築大師,因所建華美宮殿引來王子欲殺之滅口,遂暗中造出木製金翅鳥,攜家人乘之逃往喜馬拉雅山另立為王。
A king who, as a master builder threatened with death by the prince he had built a magnificent palace for, escaped with his family on a wooden garuḍa-bird he had secretly constructed and founded his own kingdom in the Himalayas.
