《中部》第二十一經，為比丘摩利耶普納所說，教導比丘即使被人以鋸節節肢解也不應生嗔，並以韋提希夫人表面溫和、實被婢女試探而露出真性情的故事為喻。

The twenty-first discourse of the Majjhimanikāya, taught to the monk Moliya-Phagguna, teaching that a monk must never give way to anger even if sawn apart limb by limb, illustrated by the tale of the supposedly gentle lady Vedehikā whose patience failed under her servant’s testing.
