Kapi Jātaka
Jātaka菩薩化身為林中苦行者,識破一隻披上苦行僧衣偽裝的猴子並將其趕走,此故事藉以諷喻一位虛偽的比丘。
The Bodhisatta as a forest ascetic who recognised and drove away a monkey that had disguised itself in an anchorite’s robe, a story told with reference to a hypocritical monk.

Jātaka菩薩與提婆達多皆化身為猴子的故事,其中一隻頑劣的猴子(即提婆達多前生)不聽勸告留在原地,後與眾多同伴一同被國王的弓箭手獵殺取脂,此故事借喻提婆達多後來被大地吞沒的下場。
A story of the Bodhisatta and Devadatta both born as monkeys, in which a mischievous monkey identified with Devadatta refused to heed a warning and, along with many others, was later killed by the king’s archers for its fat, told in reference to Devadatta’s fate of being swallowed by the earth.
