一位长老，林中修行证得阿罗汉果；一次入定时被一伙盗贼误认作树桩，将赃物堆放其身上而不自知，因而得名 Khāṇu（“树桩”）。

A thera who attained Arahantship in the forest and, while absorbed in meditation, was mistaken for a tree stump by a gang of thieves who piled their loot on him, earning him the name Khāṇu (‘stump’).
