Khadiraṅgāra Jātaka
Jātaka辟支仏への布施を何ものにも妨げさせまいと、魔羅が現出させた燃える炭の穴に踏み込んだバーラーナシーの財務官(菩薩)のジャータカで、過度の布施でほとんど破産しかけたアナータピンディカの逸話に関連して語られる
A Jātaka about a treasurer of Bārāṇasī, the Bodhisatta, who steps into a pit of burning coals conjured by Māra rather than let anything obstruct his offering of alms to a Pacceka Buddha, a story told in connection with Anāthapiṇḍika’s near ruin from excessive generosity.
