経集の蛇品の第三経で、独居の実践を説く四十一の詩句からなり、それぞれが「犀の角のようにただ独り歩め」という結句で終わる。伝統によれば、仏陀が過去の辟支仏の言葉を借りてアーナンダに説いたとされる
