隐士沙罗槃伽（Sarabhaṅga）的首座弟子，先后被一名艺伎和一位国王当作求好运的迷信对象加以侮辱，国王事后拒绝道歉，致使整个迦陵伽（Kāliṅga）国土沦为荒芜。

A hermit and chief disciple of Sarabhaṅga whose ascetic body was used as a superstitious good-luck charm by a courtesan and a king, and whose mistreatment, when the king refused to apologize, brought devastation upon the whole land of Kāliṅga.
