隱士沙羅槃伽（Sarabhaṅga）的首座弟子，先後被一名藝伎和一位國王當作求好運的迷信對象加以侮辱，國王事後拒絕道歉，致使整個迦陵伽（Kāliṅga）國土淪為荒蕪。

A hermit and chief disciple of Sarabhaṅga whose ascetic body was used as a superstitious good-luck charm by a courtesan and a king, and whose mistreatment, when the king refused to apologize, brought devastation upon the whole land of Kāliṅga.
