An account of a solitary Brahmā who visited the Buddha at Sāvatthi and spoke verses, in reference to Kokālika, on the confusion that results from trying to limit the illimitable.

The story of the monk Kokālika, who spoke ill of Sāriputta and Moggallāna before the Buddha, fell ill and died, and was reborn in the Paduma hell, prompting the Buddha to describe at length the immense duration of suffering there.
