पहली शताब्दी के श्रीलंका के एक राजा, महाचूळ (Mahācūḷa) के दूसरे पुत्र, जो हत्यारी रानी अनुला (Anulā) के भय से संघ में प्रवेश कर गए, इससे पहले कि उन्होंने उसके विरुद्ध सेना का नेतृत्व किया, और जिन्होंने अपनी माता के लिए विहार तथा एक भिक्षुणी आराम स्थापित किया।

A king of Sri Lanka in the first century AC, second son of Mahācūḷa, who entered the Order out of fear of the murderous Queen Anulā before leading an army against her, and who founded monasteries and a nunnery for his mother.
