本生故事，講一位僕人將四份酸粥工錢布施給四位辟支佛，轉生為憶得前世而作歌的太子，歌謠之意終為一位前世也曾如此佈施的王后所解；此事對應末利夫人昔日以酸粥供養佛陀之事。

A birth story of a servant who gave his four portions of sour gruel wages to four Pacceka Buddhas and was reborn a prince who composed a song recalling that past life, its meaning finally explained to a queen who had made a similar past offering, told regarding Queen Mallikā’s gift of gruel to the Buddha.
