Kuruṅgamiga Jātaka
Jātaka本生故事,講述菩薩化為羚羊躲過獵人埋伏;獵人被認定為提婆達多的前生,故事乃因提婆達多謀害佛陀之事而說。
A Jātaka telling of the Bodhisatta as an antelope who evaded a huntsman’s ambush, the huntsman being identified with Devadatta and the tale told in reference to his plots against the Buddha.

A Jātaka of three animal friends — an antelope (the Bodhisatta), a woodpecker (Sāriputta), and a tortoise (Mahā-Moggallāna) — who together outwit a huntsman identified with Devadatta; the tale is figured on the Bharhut Stupa.
