王舍城西南的一片树林，内有 Suppatiṭṭha 塔，佛陀成道后首次造访王舍城时曾驻锡于此，频婆娑罗王率众前来礼敬，后来将竹林（Veḷuvana）献给僧团。

A grove southwest of Rājagaha containing the Suppatiṭṭha shrine, where the Buddha stayed on his first visit to the city after his Enlightenment and where King Bimbisāra, with a great following, came to pay homage and later donated the Bamboo Grove to the Order.
