王舍城西南的一片樹林，內有 Suppatiṭṭha 塔，佛陀成道後首次造訪王舍城時曾駐錫於此，頻婆娑羅王率眾前來禮敬，後來將竹林（Veḷuvana）獻給僧團。

A grove southwest of Rājagaha containing the Suppatiṭṭha shrine, where the Buddha stayed on his first visit to the city after his Enlightenment and where King Bimbisāra, with a great following, came to pay homage and later donated the Bamboo Grove to the Order.
