Laṭukika Jātaka
A birth-story about a quail whose nest was trampled by a rogue elephant despite her plea for mercy, and who, enlisting a crow, a fly and a frog, engineered the elephant’s death by leading it blindly over a precipice, told in reference to Devadatta and cited during the Sākyan-Koliyan dispute to show even a weak creature can destroy the mighty.
