atha kho candano devaputto abhikkantāya rattiyā abhikkantavaṇṇo kevalakappaṃ nigrodhārāmaṃ obhāsetvā yen'āyasmā lomasak'aṅgiyo ten'upasaṅkami, upasaṅkamitvā ekam'antaṃ aṭṭhāsi.

itthaṃ sudaṃ āyasmā lomasak'aṅgiyo thero gāthaṃ abhāsitthā'ti.
