atha kho candano devaputto abhikkantāya rattiyā abhikkantavaṇṇo kevalakappaṃ nigrodhārāmaṃ obhāsetvā yen'āyasmā lomasak'aṅgiyo ten'upasaṅkami, upasaṅkamitvā ekam'antaṃ aṭṭhāsi.

itthaṃ sudaṃ āyasmā lomasak'aṅgiyo thero gāthaṃ abhāsitthā'ti.

Personカピラヴァットゥのシャーキヤ族の家に生まれた阿羅漢で、前世で比丘であったときの誓いを思い出させる天神に促され、仏陀に『バッデーカラッタ経』の教えを求め、森で阿羅漢果を得た
An Arahant born into a Sakyan family of Kapilavatthu who, prompted by a deva reminding him of a vow made in a former life as a monk, sought the Buddha’s teaching on the Bhaddekaratta Sutta and attained Arahantship in the forest.
