讲述 Mātaṅga 的本生故事：菩萨投生为 Bārāṇasī 城外的贱民种姓，凭毅力娶得高傲的富商之女 Diṭṭhamaṅgalikā 为妻，其后以苦行神通使她被世人尊为女神。

A Jātaka about Mātaṅga, the Bodhisatta born into an outcaste family near Bārāṇasī, who won the proud merchant’s daughter Diṭṭhamaṅgalikā as his wife and then used his ascetic powers to have her honoured as a goddess.
