Jātaka一则本生故事,讲述一头在喜马拉雅山中奉养盲母的象,被俘入王家象厩后绝食不食,直至获释归养其母,用以称赞一位孝顺母亲的比丘。
A birth-story about an elephant who cared for his blind mother in the Himalayas, was captured for the royal stables but refused to eat until freed to return to her, told in praise of a monk devoted to his own mother.
