Maṅgala Jātaka
Jātakaネズミにかじられた衣を災いの前兆と恐れる迷信深いバラモンに逆らい、それを自ら拾い上げた苦行者の本生話で、賢者は前兆を信じるべきでないと説く。
A birth story of an ascetic who defied a superstitious brahmin’s fear of a mouse-gnawed garment as an omen of disaster by picking it up, teaching that no wise person should believe in omens.
