洛訶波薩陀經吉祗多帝須重建為七層樓閣並奉獻珍貴寶石後所改稱之名，後遭注輦人焚燬，最終由摩醯陀四世重建完成。

The name given to the Lohapāsāda after Jeṭṭhatissa rebuilt it in seven storeys and offered it a costly jewel, later burnt down by the Coḷas and eventually restored by Mahinda IV.
