一则本生故事，讲一群野猪因水晶洞穴映出狮子的身影而惊惧，徒劳地用泥浆与自己的鬃毛想弄脏水晶，洞中的苦行者告诉它们水晶本不受污，是佛陀就外道企图借 Sundarī 之死诽谤佛陀失败一事所说。

A birth story about a group of boars terrified by a lion’s reflection in their crystal cave, who try in vain to dull the crystal with mud and their own bristles until the resident ascetic tells them a crystal cannot be sullied, told in reference to heretics’ failed attempt to slander the Buddha over the death of Sundarī.
