Maghādeva Sutta
Sutta佛陀行至一处芒果林中微笑,向阿难讲述一位国王见白发而出家为苦行者的故事,并说明该王的传承仅能引至梵天,唯有佛陀的教法能导向究竟证悟。
A discourse in which the Buddha, smiling at a certain spot in a mango grove, tells Ānanda the story of a king who renounced the world on seeing his first grey hair, explaining that while that king’s tradition led only to the Brahmā world, the Buddha’s own teaching leads to full enlightenment.
