බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේ, දුරසිටම මහා කප්පිණ දැක, ඔහුව භික්ෂූන්ට කුසලතාවෙන් යුත්, තේජාන්විත, හා ත්‍යාගයේ අරමුණ සපුරාගත් අයෙකු ලෙස ප්‍රශංසා කර, ආර්යයෝ සැමවිටම සත්වයන් අතරින් බබළන බව උගන්වන සූත්‍රයකි.

A discourse in which the Buddha, seeing Mahā-Kappina from afar, praises him to the monks as gifted, radiant, and one who has attained renunciation’s goal, and teaches that the Noble One always shines among beings.
