卡拉塔纳伽与阿奴拉提维之子，被瓦特伽摩尼王收为养子，后继位为斯里兰卡国王，在位十四年，曾隐姓埋名劳作以所得工资供养僧团。

A son of Khallāṭanāga and Anulādevī who was adopted by King Vaṭṭagāmaṇī and later succeeded him as king of Sri Lanka, ruling for fourteen years and once laboring incognito to earn alms-money for the Order.
