A village in the Dakkhiṇadesa region of Sri Lanka where Saṅghatissa once camped, later given by Dāṭhopatissa II to a monastery’s meditation hall, and mentioned in accounts of Parakkamabāhu I’s military campaigns.

마하세나가 건설하고 후에 파라카마바후 1세가 보수한 저수지로, 그는 이곳에서 수카라닛자라로 이어지는 운하도 건설했다.

A reservoir built by Mahāsena and later repaired by Parakkamabāhu I, who also constructed a canal from it to Sūkaranijjhara.
