Jātaka王妃の夢を叶えるためバーラーナシー王サンヤマが仕掛けた罠に捕らわれた金色の雁の王ダタラッタ(菩薩)のジャータカで、大臣スムカの忠誠深い献身が王の心を動かし、二羽の雁は名誉とともに解放される
A Jātaka about Dhataraṭṭha, king of the golden geese and the Bodhisatta, who was captured in a snare set by King Saṃyama of Bārāṇasī to fulfil his queen’s dream, and whose minister Sumukha’s loyal devotion so moved the king that both geese were released with honour.
