보살이 팔만 마리 원숭이의 우두머리로서 자신의 몸을 다리 삼아 무리를 왕의 궁수들로부터 구했고, 전생에 데바닷타였던 원숭이는 버려져 죽게 되는 자타카

A Jātaka in which the Bodhisatta, as leader of eighty thousand monkeys, uses his own body as a bridge to save his troop from a king’s archers, while the monkey who was Devadatta in a former life is left to perish.

보살이 원숭이로서 굶주린 남자를 구덩이에서 구했으나 오히려 그 배은망덕한 남자에게 돌로 맞는 자타카. 그 남자는 후에 데바닷타로 확인된다
