Mahākapi Jātaka
Jātaka一则本生故事,菩萨前生为八万猕猴之王,以自身作桥助全群逃过国王弓箭手的追杀,唯独前生为提婆达多的猕猴因此丧命。
A Jātaka in which the Bodhisatta, as leader of eighty thousand monkeys, uses his own body as a bridge to save his troop from a king’s archers, while the monkey who was Devadatta in a former life is left to perish.

A Jātaka in which the Bodhisatta, as a monkey, rescues a starving man from a pit only to be struck with a stone by his ungrateful rescued man, later identified as Devadatta.
