Mahākapi Jātaka
Jātaka一則本生故事,菩薩前生為八萬獼猴之王,以自身作橋助全群逃過國王弓箭手的追殺,唯獨前生為提婆達多的獼猴因此喪命。
A Jātaka in which the Bodhisatta, as leader of eighty thousand monkeys, uses his own body as a bridge to save his troop from a king’s archers, while the monkey who was Devadatta in a former life is left to perish.

Jātaka一則本生故事,菩薩前生為獼猴救出困於坑中的飢餓男子,反遭該男子以石擊傷,此人後來被認定即提婆達多前生。
A Jātaka in which the Bodhisatta, as a monkey, rescues a starving man from a pit only to be struck with a stone by his ungrateful rescued man, later identified as Devadatta.
