විඤ්ඣාටවියේ ගිහි ශ්‍රාවකයෙකි, මුණ්ඩ භික්ෂුවගේ ආධාරකයෙකි, අනුරුද්ධගේ මිත්‍රයෙකි; ඔහුට පුත්තු දෙදෙනෙකි − මහාසුමන හා චූළසුමන; බාල පුත්‍රයා පැවිදි කිරීම සඳහා අනුරුද්ධ තෙරුන් විශේෂයෙන් ඔහු වෙත ගියේය.

A lay disciple of the monk Muṇḍa in Viñjhāṭavī, friend and patron of Anuruddha; his two sons were Mahāsumana and Cūḷasumana, the younger of whom Anuruddha visited him to ordain.
