일반적으로 알린다카바시 마하풋사데바로 불리는 비구로, 끊임없이 명상하며 마을로 탁발을 오가는 데 21년을 보낸 끝에 아라한과를 얻었고, 그날 밤 신들이 찬란한 빛으로 이 성취를 경배했다.

A monk, generally called Alindakavāsī Mahāphussadeva, who spent twenty-one years walking to and from the village for alms in constant meditation before attaining Arahantship, an achievement honoured that night by deities with radiant light.
