Mahāsakuludāyi Sutta
A discourse in which the wanderer Sakuludāyi credits the Buddha’s ascetic simplicity for his disciples’ devotion, prompting the Buddha to explain that it is instead his superior virtue, wisdom, and the complete path of practice he teaches — including the foundations of mindfulness and the higher knowledges — that truly wins their esteem.
