ヴェールヴァナで仏陀の教えを受けた後、遍歴行者ヴァッチャゴッタが四か月の試用期間を経て僧団に入り、まもなく阿羅漢果を得るという経典。

A sutta in which the wanderer Vacchagotta, after receiving the Buddha’s teaching at Veḷuvana, enters the monastic Order following a four-month probation and soon after attains Arahantship.
